Concept Models are usually based on design sketches and clay models in close collaboration with the designer.

 

The Class-A modeling process is typically based on a fully developed design, either as a scanned clay model or a digital design model. Because the design isn't changing, the design-engineer has the time to build surfaces to the highest quality standards, ready for production.
